Choreographer born in Bogotá and based in Montreal, develops a corporeal language where memory, sensibility, and transformation meet. Trained in contemporary dance, she conceives movement as a space of listening, a territory where care, embodiment, and the relationship to others become choreographic material.

Her works, presented in Canada and abroad, explore inner passages: how the body carries, crosses, and reinvents time and space. Through pieces marked by delicacy and intensity, she shapes a presence that reveals both the fragility and the power of gesture.

Yesenia grounds her practice by nurturing a constant dialogue between creation, reflection, and transmission. Her approach opens an horizon where the body, in perpetual metamorphosis, becomes a source of freedom, poetry, and reconstruction
